Nursing Care

Nursing Care offers people with particular needs the assurance of having fully qualified nursing staff on hand 24 hours a day to deliver their care in addition to other forms of residential support.

Radcliffe Gardens is a nursing home offering our residents with more complex health needs, a wide range of trusted services from registered nurses as well as access to the personal and practical support you would expect from residential care.

Our approach to nursing care is to encourage a lifestyle that adapts to your needs changes. When you come to live with us our professional nursing care teams will spend time getting to know you and design a personal plan which will help support and meet your needs.

We respect privacy and dignity and encourage you to be involved with deciding how your nursing care is planned and delivered. We will agree a personal care plan offering support that ranges from the provision of medical aids and dispensing of medication, to laundry and housekeeping services with day to day social activities.

Our home has a dedicated Activities Co-Ordinator who organises and arranges a variety of opportunities for our residents to enjoy daily activities in our home and in the local community.

We work in partnership with the National Association for Providers for Older People (NAPA) and encourage activities that enhance our resident’s lifestyle, health and well-being.

Residents preferred activities, interests and ability are discussed when they move in and an agreed care plan ensures that these requests are fulfilled. Our residents’ suggestions for activities also help shape the planning process.

We organise supervised day trips to leisure facilities and places of interest as well as local events in the home, including themed restaurant evenings, arts and crafts, quizzes and regular entertainers.

At Radcliffe Gardens, our caring and attentive staff work with our residents’ and their loved ones to create a detailed care plan which ensures our residents individual health and care needs are met.
